CausePress gives a nonprofit a website that reads as warm, credible, and human — a teal-and-coral palette, editorial headlines, and impact you can actually stand behind, with none of the stock-hands-clasped clichés. A hybrid Gutenberg theme, not a page-builder starter, with donate and volunteer paths front and centre.
Everything a nonprofit needs is modeled in native WordPress: programs, impact areas, team & board, stories & news, and locations as first-class content types with shared taxonomies — no ACF, no Elementor, no third-party form plugin.
Donate and volunteer are the emphasized paths, and a governed impact-reports page fails closed — a reported figure only shows verified when its source and reviewer are present, so the site never states a statistic it can't back up.
