Overview
RemodelPress gives a contractor or remodeler a website that reads as warm, skilled, and trustworthy — a walnut-and-teal palette, editorial headlines, and a before-and-after project gallery that sells the craft, with none of the generic-toolbox clichés. A hybrid Gutenberg theme, not a page-builder starter.
Everything a remodeler needs is modeled in native WordPress: services, project types, crew, guides, and service areas as first-class content types with shared taxonomies — no ACF, no Elementor, no third-party form plugin.
The project gallery leads with before-and-after storytelling — location, scope, and timeline on every project — supported by a governed process & warranty page and a native, validated estimate-request form.
Native estimate request
Real validation, an error summary, and a success state — with sensitive-data warnings and zero sensitive fields.
Governed process & warranty
Process milestones and warranty commitments fail closed — verified only when scope, source, and reviewer are present.
Self-hosted fonts
Newsreader, Source Sans 3, and IBM Plex Mono served locally — zero Google-CDN calls, GDPR-friendly.
theme.json + patterns
Design tokens mapped to theme.json, editor styles, and block patterns for the hero, process, and CTA bands.
Accessible & translation-ready
WCAG 2.2 AA intent throughout, every string internationalized, escaped output and sanitized input.
