Overview
TalentPress gives a recruitment firm a website that reads as sharp, senior, and dual-audience — an indigo-and-amber palette, editorial headlines, and clean employer-versus-candidate paths, with none of the stock-handshake clichés. A hybrid Gutenberg theme, not a page-builder starter.
Everything a search firm needs is modeled in native WordPress: specialisms, sectors, consultants, case studies, and live roles as first-class content types with shared taxonomies — no ACF, no Elementor, no third-party form plugin.
The site serves two audiences at once — a ‘hire talent’ path for employers and a ‘find a role’ path for candidates — and a governed live-roles board fails closed so a vacancy only shows open when its source and reviewing consultant are present.
Native enquiry forms
Employer briefs and candidate enquiries with real validation, an error summary, and a success state.
Governed live roles
Vacancies fail closed — a role only shows open when its source and reviewing consultant are present.
Self-hosted fonts
Newsreader, Source Sans 3, and IBM Plex Mono served locally — zero Google-CDN calls, GDPR-friendly.
Sector-first structure
Specialisms and sectors as first-class content, so consultants map cleanly to what they place.
Accessible & translation-ready
WCAG 2.2 AA intent throughout, every string internationalized, escaped output and sanitized input.
